Mechanical Watches
Mechanical watches are traditional timepieces that operate without electricity or batteries. The stored energy from the wound mainspring is transferred to the gear train and then to the escapement, which releases energy at a consistent rate in accordance with the watch's oscillation rate. Impulses are transmitted through the gear train to the hands and the calendar mechanism, allowing the time to be read from the watch dial. The more precisely this process is managed, the more accurate the watch's timekeeping.

Wall and table clocks
Wall and table clocks come in many different sizes and designs. They can be mechanical or electric.

Cuckoo clocks
A cuckoo clock is a pendulum clock that strikes the hours with a sound like a cuckoo's call. The cuckoo can also strike once on the half hour and the number of times for the hour. Cuckoo clocks often have a small door on the front from which a carved wooden cuckoo emerges.
Anniversary clocks
An anniversary clock is a clock where the pendulum is hung on a torsion spring and the movement is very slow. Typically their running time on one winding is very long.
Wall and Table Clocks
The common cause of old wall clocks stopping is often friction due to the wear and tear of bearings and lubrication. We recommend servicing wall clocks approximately every 10 years.
The repair of wall and table clocks typically involves disassembling the movement, cleaning and inspecting the parts, and refurbishing the bearings and axles.
Old wall clocks are examined and evaluated before any work is undertaken.
